RapidConta: The era of financial high performance

We were sitting drinking and enjoying a good Colombian coffee. My uncle owns and runs a soil´s laboratory and we were talking about a particular task he was still performing manually using a spreadsheet, specifically he was tired of having to draw manually the profile of soil of any soil survey every single time.

Those are the type of opportunities that business man and pure entrepreneurs like so much, a spontaneous conversation that leads to the creation of new ventures.

Six months later and fourth thousands of lines of code later, I was able to create a solution for that particular issue.

Solumgraf, the geotechnical app to draw a soil profile and to calculate the limits of consistency of any type of soil was born. (http://solumgraf.wixsite.com/solumgraf)

As usually happens in this type of cases, after evaluating and doing a little market research, I decided to use the new acquired skills to create a division for my consulting company and I called it Fractal Coding. ( http://fractalcoding.wix.com/fractalcoding)

The purpose of Fractal Coding is to develop tailored applications for all type of industries and to obtain market participation in the LATAM software ecosystem.

So as natural first step, Fractal Coding start developing software to attend the necessities of their own organization.

First we created RapidFe (https://rapidfe.wordpress.com), an application that allows the generation of electronic invoices and allows to send those to the Colombian tax webserver system in real time.

In this way, RapidFe became the first module of our financial suite: RapidConta.

RapidConta was created in order to allow the company to get the financial statements in real time, after performing each financial transaction. Therefore, once a financial transaction is executed, the software modifies immediately the financial statements (L&G, Cash Flow and Balance) accordingly and produce the required financial reports.

So the mission of RapidConta is crystal clear, in the XXI century it is possible to manage, track and report the financial statements of any company minute by minute.

Creating this tools, will allow us to increase the digital IQ and the financial IQ of our clients.
